After waking up from his nap Connor was excited to watch the super bowl. We were just hoping the Patriots would lose-we aren't Giants fans but we were just rooting for the underdog and didn't want to see the Patriots walk away with another Superbowl title. Not to mention that all of our "teams" lost before or in the playoffs.
After watching for a couple of minutes Connor exclaims, "Hey! That guy looks like Peyton Manning?!?!". He was very confused because he looked like Payton Manning but he wasn't a Colt's player. We explained it was Peyton Manning's brother so they look alike just like he and Brennan were brothers. He was so excited about this.
When Brennan woke up he had to explain the whole thing to him which reminded Brennan of his Colts- Peyton Manning jersey and so he had to put it on. We figured well alright.....maybe it would bring the Giants luck! Since the Superbowl Brennan has a slight obsession with his Colts Jersey....he wants to wear it all the time. We were happy to watch an exciting finish and the boys were happy that they have another Manning to cheer for.
